[USA] BLOOD DRIVE SUMMER 2010 _ World Mission Society Church of God

Blood-Drive-6.10
On July 10, 2010, the World Mission Society Church of God joined efforts with Community Blood Services to hold a blood drive, bringing hundreds of donors to give their time and blood to help save a life.
Every 2 seconds, someone needs blood in the United States – that could very well be any our family members, friends or even ourselves. Even though there are over 8 million residents in the state of New Jersey, only 3 percent of the population donates blood. To address this dire need, the members of the Church of God were moved to take action.
Beginning early in the morning, approximately 270 members of the Church of God in New York as well as members of the community came out to participate in the blood drive. With radiant smiles, volunteers of all ages, nationalities and backgrounds came together with one mind and heart to take part in a great deed.
The actual process of donating blood too about 60 minutes for each donor as only one unit of blood is collected. The staff from Community Blood Services guided volunteers through the process of registering as donors and then, trained phlebotomists gently finished the blood drawing process. Once completed, donors were escorted to an observation area with refreshments and allowed to rest.
Just like a Mother is concerned with the well-being and livelihood of her children, so the Church of God aims to deliver the love of Mother and help save lives, not just in the state of New Jersey, but in the entire world.

[USA] BLOOD DRIVE WINTER 2009 _ World Mission Society Church of God

Blood-Drive2009
The World Mission Society Church of God was very excited to host its first ever blood drive on December 27, 2009. Community Blood Services came to the Church of God in Ridgewood, NJ not expecting 196 individuals ready and willing to give blood. After hemoglobin testing, 181 people who attended the Church’s first drive were able to donate. All the participants were very excited to learn that due to their sacrifice, together they could save up to 543 lives.
Blood is the very source of life. The Church of God decided to hold this event in order to demonstrate this fact to members as well as to the community at large. This inaugural blood drive raised awareness of the necessity of blood to live. The Bible shares the same message. In the same way we receive life from our physical fathers and mothers through a combination of their blood, so the children of God receive eternal life from their spiritual Father and their spiritual Mother. Heavenly Father Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother New Jerusalem give us Their blood through the New Covenant Passover. It is through the Passover feast that we become one with God, true children of God.
Realizing the dire need for blood, especially in the summer and winter months, the Church of God decided to host semi-annual blood drives in partnership with Community Blood Services, after a first successful blood drive.

[USA] BLOOD DRIVE WINTER 2011 _ World Mission Society Church of God

On Sunday, December 11, 2011, the World Mission Society Church of God hosted its Winter 2011 Blood Drive in Ridgewood, NJ in partnership with Community Blood Services. The turnout of the drive came as no surprise to the Recruitment Director at Community Blood Services, Patrice Foresman, and to the returning staff who were involved with the Church of God’s previous drives. Among the 230 donating registrants, 180 units were collected. From this amazing drive, up to 540 lives could be saved.
Joseph McHale, a Community Blood Services volunteer, described the drive at the Church of God in Ridgewood as “huge” and “terrific.” Community Blood Services conventionally holds drives at high schools and corporations, normally obtaining around 100 or even just 50 units, respectively. McHale was shocked, impressed, and enthused by the magnificent turnout and the amount of new donors at the Church of God.
Kamil, now a veteran worker at the Church of God blood drives, mentioned that he likes coming here, taking notice of the calm and organized atmosphere of the members and participants despite the hundreds of blood contributors that Community Blood Services personnel had to register. The blood donating process takes roughly an hour, including: completing the application, getting tested for capability to donate, then finally donating itself. Undeterred by the lengthy process, which increased due to the limited amount of donating beds, Camille, a Community Blood Services worker, commented that “some people get very frustrated, but [Church of God donors] were not complaining about the wait.”
So what motivates Church of God members to continuously participate in these blood drives? It is their burning desire to serve others and follow in the footsteps of Heavenly Father Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother New Jerusalem. As Kamal Monges, first time donor and member of the Church of God in Philadelphia, expressed, “Father and Mother did it…with a lot more pain and a lot more suffering. This is a very small sacrifice. It was a pleasure to do this for those in need.” Even first time visitors to the Church enjoyed the warm and welcoming atmosphere as well as the beautiful deed of saving lives. It was Karen Roman’s first time at the Church of God and although she donated in the past, she appreciated the members’ attentiveness in helping her through the process to make her more comfortable and more at ease. When asked if she would come back to another Church of God Blood Drive, she responded, “Of course! And [I'd] bring some friends too!”
The event proved so successful that New Song Radio featured it on one of its segments. During an aired interview with Patrice, she described her feelings on the drive. “Every single time we have done a blood drive at the World Mission Society Church of God in Ridgewood, it has been an overwhelming feeling of happiness. People are very, very glad to be a part of the process – I’m talking about our employees with Community Blood Services… and also the donors themselves. It just seems like everybody has the same reason to be there and that is to help make certain we have an adequate blood supply for the 20+ hospitals that we serve in the community and the three trauma centers…” An unexpected victory also occurred at the Church of God Drive: ten people registered to donate bone marrow, “which is an amazing result for our first time,” acknowledged Patrice.
Community Blood Services also nominated the World Mission Society Church of God to receive a special Award of Excellence through the America’s Blood Centers Organization. Patrice spoke about why she nominated the Church of God for this award: “It’s a national award. It is something I felt very deeply about because of the commitment that the Church of God has made to us. Essentially, it is an award for the most productive blood drive… I can’t think of an organization that is more deserving of this kind of recognition. [The Church of God's] mission to assist [their] fellow man is relevant and important and is one that Community Blood Services shares… it resonates to the actual gift of life.”
The World Mission Society Church of God looks forward to continuing its efforts of conducting blood drives during the winter and summer months when blood supply levels are at its lowest.

[USA] UNITY IN THE COMMUNITY BLOOD DRIVE_World Mission Society Church of God

164th Worldwide Blood Drive to Give Life through the Love of the Passover

The day started out cloudy and gloomy—not a day for a community service blood drive event. However, just as the blood drive extravaganza began, the sun made its grand appearance and shone on the volunteers, donors and performers that were present at the Unity in the Community Blood Drive on Sunday, July 28, 2013 in Shrewsbury, NJ.
The World Mission Society Church of God partnered with Central Jersey Blood Center to host this community service event. To attract donors, members of the Church of God prepared live entertainment, games and food. More than 300 Church members from various branch churches throughout the tri-state area participated in order to encourage local donors and share the love of God.
“In the Church of God, we believe in following the example of Heavenly Mother and spreading the love of God through good deeds,” commented one Church donor and volunteer. “Because Christ came to give us eternal life through the Passover, we want to help save lives by donating our physical blood. Through this, we hope many come to understand the importance of the Passover.”
An event highlight included the Mayor of Shrewsbury, Donald W. Burden, thanking the Church of God for organizing this family-fun event. This blood drive marked the 164th worldwide blood drive held by the World Mission Society Church of God.

[USA] Blood donation of World Mission Society Church of God

According to the New Jersey Blood Donor Coalition, when blood supply shortfalls occur, New Jersey must rely on blood from other states, which may result in hospitals having less than a two-day supply on hand.  To patients combating serious illnesses that demand blood transfusions it can be a grim reality, however members from the World Mission Society Church of God strive to selflessly devote themselves to donating blood throughout the year and abet these shortages.  Considering that only 3.6% of the New Jersey population donates compared to the national average of 5%, the World Mission Society Church of God hopes to fill the gaps in giving and serve those in greatest need.
Throughout the year, the members across 36 East Coast branches from the Church of God voluntarily unite to host large and small-scale blood drives to help reduce the blood supply shortage. Each year, individual churches may donate 2-3 times and on occasion members from across all the branches will unite at the central Headquarters in Ridgewood, New Jersey to donate blood.  Additionally, the Church of God carries out hundreds of blood drives on a global scale across more than 150 countries. The drives are created not only for members of the church, but are used to help attract and educate the communities to also donate.
The motivation and inspiration for this effort is a product of the members gratitude to the Saviors  Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother Jerusalem who have sacrificed their own blood to give eternal life according to the Scriptures.  Just as physical life is sustained by a healthy supply of blood, so the Bible testifies that the blood of Christ delivered on the Passover night has the power to give eternal life to those who celebrate it.  Realizing the sacrifice of God to shed blood to save souls, the members feel a great desire to share the love of Christ with all mankind by giving physical blood to individuals in need.

[Mongol] The World Mission Society Church of God in Darkhan is reaching out a helping hand

This Church was founded in Korea in 1964 and currently has around 2,200 branch churches in 150 countries around the world. And the Church has been spread to the world under the name of the World Mission Society Church of God. The Church of God started its activity in Mongolia in 2004 and in Darkhan-Uul Province in 2009 by obtaining official approval from the authorities. The goal of this Church is to preach the prophecies of the Bible with hard evidence and to communicate a wide range of information. Also, it gives faith of life, power and wish of escaping the pain and suppression of life. Furthermore, the Church has been conducting various voluntary services.
Some examples of the voluntary services of this Church include:
1.     On March 11, 2012, two tons of wastes were collected from 4,000 m2 streets in an apartment area of District No. 8, Darkhan-Uul Province. Some laborers of District No. 8 as well as 31 members of the Church participated in this clean-up campaign. The Church of God carried out clean-up campaigns in this district two times so far. The Church supported 33,200 MNT as the cost of banners, invitation cards, microphone batteries and film development.
2.    On April 29, 2012, more than 400 members participated in a campaign to clean up 6,000 m2 streets near Hara River, Darkhan-Uul Province. The Church of God supported 76,580 MNT to pay for banners, clean-up campaign preparation and meals. This voluntary service carried out in Darkhan was the ‘1,371st Worldwide Voluntary Service’ of this Church.
3.     On  July 25, 2012, the Church of God performed a blood drive in Darkhan Hospital. Twenty five saints joined in this blood donation drive. Non-saints also voluntarily participated in this event. Also, the Church spent 1,750 MNT on banners and meals.
The voluntary services of this Church have been carried out in 150 countries around the world including Mongolia. Currently, the Church of God has four branch churches in Ulaanbaatar, which have also conducted voluntary services and received various awards from the Ministry of Water Supply and the Ministry of Environment of Mongolia. The Church of God around the world has been united under the slogan “The Whole World with the Love of Mother,” and has been committed to set an example with good deeds to others and create a better life for future.
The World Mission Society Church of God has paid the taxes and social insurance costs regularly within the time for payment and has followed all applicable laws and regulations of Mongolia. Also, the Church participated in a forum for religious groups held at the Child Welfare Center on December 10, 2012.
The Church presented coal and firewood to its neighbors with a warm heart like the love of Mother. The Church of God in Darkhan supported 40 bags of coal and firewood to 10 households in commemoration of the Day of the New Jerusalem.
A warm breeze of love blows to a global village. A breeze of love which makes dying lives alive with the heart of Mother who cares for children and which gives hope to neighbors who are suffering from diseases. This love is essential for mankind of this age when people are getting hard-hearted due to disputes and antagonism.
It is the World Mission Society Church of God (Chief Pastor: Joo-cheol Kim), a global religious group, that causes this warm breeze. They has been conducting massive voluntary services around the world beyond borders and religions in commemoration of the ‘Day of New Jerusalem 2012’ and created a sensation.
Celebrating the Day of New Jerusalem, we would like to spread the greatest love and good news of Mother who saves mankind.” The Church of God explained the purpose of the global sharing love.
The voluntary services in this round are intended to target the whole world as well as Mongolia. The World Mission Society Church of God has been carried out such activities as massive blood drive, clean-up campaign, briquette delivery, a party in honor of the aged and visit to a government office or organization, considering the special nature of each country or region and the needs of each local government or community.
On Monday December 31, 2012, the Church of God in Darkhan provided 10 homes in Darkhan-Uul Province with 20 bags of coal and 20 bags of firewood respectively.
The Mongolian winter is so unbearable cold that heating fuel is absolutely necessary. However, the fuel cost is expensive, which increases the burden on people in need. “In commemoration of the Day of New Jerusalem 2012, we took action to deliver the love of God the Mother to neighbors who are having a tough life,” said Pastor Shin, Joo-ho of the Church of God in Darkhan. “We are happy to help them spend a warm winter.”
That day, coal and firewood were delivered to each home by Pastor and members of the Church. “I was anxious about this winter because I was told that it would be especially cold this year. I feel relief and happy to receive coal and firewood,” said Odonchimeg who had three children.
As is well known, the World Mission Society Church of God believes that God the Mother exists as well as God the Father based on the Bible. The Church has 2,200 branch churches in 150 countries around the world. It is a large-scale church whose number of registered members is about 1.75 million.
The Church of God is well known for practicing the love of God the Mother as well as its missionary work based on the Bible. The Church has been conducting heartfelt activities including Blood Drive to Give Life Through the Love of the Passover, various disaster recovery activities such as global environmental protection campaigns, campaigns to help neighbors in need, and supporters’ activity. The devoted voluntary services of this Church, which has been carried out in every part of the globe, are greatly welcomed by the governments of each country and the U.N.
The Church of God said, “Just as children in danger need their mothers, so people, who are living among disasters, diseases, famines, economic depression and climate catastrophes, need the love of God the Mother in our days. We hope that humans will come to God the Mother to receive true peace and happiness, and furthermore, salvation.”

[UK] World mission society church of God held clean-up campaign in Oldham town center

http://www.clicklancashire.com/news/local-news/1211703-clean-up-campaign-in-olhdam-town-centre.html
On 6th March, Tuesday, at their own cost, World Mission Society Church of God cleaned up Oldham town centre. Many residents gave them compliments and encouraged their effort. And they collected about 100 bin bags.
Also, they have gathered at Queen Elizebeth Hall to give blood. From 6th March, Around 2,200 places in 150 countries are doing this campaign together. It is to practice the love of the Passover of the new covenant(5th April), which was restored by Ahnsahnghong the Christ who came a second time.
And 5th March, On Sunday, they have cleaned Hyde Town to cheer up people. And 1st February, they cleaned Bury Town and Eric Street, Oldham which was reported as problem for litters.
31st January, 2012, around 80 members of World Mission Society Church of God carried out clean-up campaign to practice the love of second coming Christ Ahnsahnghong. They have cleaned Cliford Road, an area that already has been reported to be full of rubbish.
29th January, there was a very big festival in China town, in the city centre and it caused a large amount of rubbish to be spread in the surrounding area. As the Church of God is practicing the love of second coming Christ Ahnsahnghong they felt it their duty to help and clean up.
The Church of God will continue to clean up the whole of Manchester every Sunday and after special events until Manchester is completely cleaned as they feel it is their duty to spread the love and sacrifice of second coming Christ Ahnsahnghong.

The Blood Drive and Environmental Cleanup Campaign on a global scale to heal the sick earth is to be carried out in 150 countries including UK all together. It is the “2012 Worldwide Blood Drive and Environmental Cleanup campaign for the Passover” held by the World Mission Society Church of God(General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol).
The Church of God says that the purpose of this cleanup campaign is to “practice the love of the Passover of the new covenant, which was restored by Ahnsahnghong the Christ who came a second time.” The Church adds that it is also to “inform people of the seriousness of environmental pollution and save lives through blood donation.”
The campaign is to be carried out in about 2,200 places of 150 countries where the branches of the Church of God have been established; including the United Kingdom, United States, South America, Europe, Asia, Oceania and Africa will carry out the campaign together. The Church says that it will keep holding the campaign by April 5, the sacred Assembly of the Passover 2012.

The Passover of the new covenant, which the Church regards as important, is the day when Jesus Christ promised the forgiveness of sins and eternal life to those who have bread and wine representing His flesh and blood; Jesus established this new covenant on the night before He was crucified 2,000 years ago.
Following the teaching of Jesus Christ, the Church of God keeps the Passover by eating bread and drinking wine in the evening of the 14th day of the first month in the sacred calendar every year.
As it is name imparts, the Church says that disasters pass over that disasters pass over those who keep the Passover. It originated from the Exodus when the Israelites were protected from the disaster by putting the blood of the lamb on the sides and tops of the doorframes of their houses.
The Church of God believes that Christ Ahnsahnghong is God in the age of the Holy Spirit because he restored the Passover of the new covenant, which was abolished at the Council of Nicaea in A.D. 325 after Jesus ascended. The Church of God says that it is the only church in the world, which keeps the Passover of the new covenant, following the regulations of the Bible on the correct day. This year, the Passover falls on 5th April.
The Church of God keeps the seven feasts in three times according to the Bible including the Resurrection Day and the Feast of Tabernacles as well as the Passover, and it is known as the church that follows every regulation of the new covenant- the Sabbath, Baptism and the regulation of veil.
