164th Worldwide Blood Drive to Give Life through the Love of the Passover

The day started out cloudy and gloomy—not a day for a community service blood drive event. However, just as the blood drive extravaganza began, the sun made its grand appearance and shone on the volunteers, donors and performers that were present at the Unity in the Community Blood Drive on Sunday, July 28, 2013 in Shrewsbury, NJ.

The World Mission Society Church of God partnered with Central Jersey Blood Center to host this community service event. To attract donors, members of the Church of God prepared live entertainment, games and food. More than 300 Church members from various branch churches throughout the tri-state area participated in order to encourage local donors and share the love of God.

“In the Church of God, we believe in following the example of Heavenly Mother and spreading the love of God through good deeds,” commented one Church donor and volunteer. “Because Christ came to give us eternal life through the Passover, we want to help save lives by donating our physical blood. Through this, we hope many come to understand the importance of the Passover.”

An event highlight included the Mayor of Shrewsbury, Donald W. Burden, thanking the Church of God for organizing this family-fun event. This blood drive marked the 164th worldwide blood drive held by the World Mission Society Church of God.

[Mexico] Voluntary Service Activity in Commemoration of the Day of "the New Jerusalem"_World Mission Society Church of God

 On Sunday, December 23, 2012, about 300 people including the members of the World Mission Society Church of God carried out a "Charity bazaar to help others" in commemoration of the Day of the New Jerusalem. Fund raised through this bazaar for needy neighbors will beused for old people in this case.

 The World Mission Society Church of God in Atlixco expressed the purpose of the global activity of sharing love through the motto "Let's deliver the love of Mother who saves mankind" in commemoration of the Day of the New Jerusalem. As you know, the Church of God believes in the existence of God the Mother as well as God the Father based on the Bible, and is globally recognized as the church that practices the love of God the Mother. Today, it has 2,200 churches in over 150 countries around the world and the number of its registered members amounts to approx. 1.75 million.

 The Church of God has been carrying out voluntary service activities to help others in need including regions of natural disasters. Also it has been conducting Worldwide Environmental Clean-up Campaigns and blood drives to give life through the love of the Passover.

 These devoted voluntary services of the Church of God in every corner of Global Village, are applauded by every country beyond borders, races and religions. Thus, the United Nations has recognition of the Church of God for these activities.

 The World Mission Society Church of God in Siem Reap delivered school supplies, clothing and food to 40 children in 'Mut Kmeng Kkumppria' orphanage on April 29. Sypna said the church that has taken the initiative in practicing the love of God the Mother visited 'Mut Kmeng Kkumppria' orphanage and provided school supplies, clothing and food as gift this time. 

 "It is intended to preach the Passover the New Covenant truth established by God for the salvation of all mankind and to deliver the love of God the Mother to the neighbors in need."

 Aem La, the representative of 'Mut Kmeng Kkumppria' orphanage said, "I was deeply moved by the thoughtful gifts from World Mission Society Church of God. The gifts are certainly precious beyond all description for these disadvantaged orphans, though it may be just small for those who are well off. I truly appreciate General Pastor, Joo Cheol Kim who delivered the love to the children here in Cambodia.

 According to the church, Passover is said to be the first to be kept out of 7 feasts and 3 times. It is called, "Passover" in English and has a meaning, "the feast to pass over the disasters." All around the world, the Church of God is the only one that keeps this feast, keeping it by eating bread and wine.

December25: the Birthday of Christ Ahnsahnghong By the World Mission Society Church of God

The World Mission Society Church of God was founded by Christ Ahnsahnghong in 1964 according to the prophecies of the Bible. The main doctrines of this Church are the Second Coming Jesus who comes in the flesh and the existence of God the Mother.
Christ Ahnsahnghong was born in 1918, began His preaching ministry in 1948 and passed away in 1985 after 37 years of ministry. This was to fulfill the prophecy of King David who had been anointed king at the age of 30 and had reigned 40 years (2 Samuel 5:4.) This work of King David had to be carried out by Jesus 2,000 years ago (Luke 1:30-31). But Jesus fulfilled His reign as the King of Universe for three years only when He was baptized at the age of 30 and was crucified at the age of 33 by those who denied Him. In this reason, Christ should come a second time in this last era to complete the remaining 37 years of David’s throne (Hebrews 9:27-28.)
The World Mission Society Church of God originated from South Korea and spread to the whole world. Currently, more than one million people believe in Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother.
Christ promised to appear a second time in the east to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him. The Church of God believes the Second Coming Christ who came in the flesh with a new name in this age (Revelation 2:17.) This Church celebrates the birth of Christ Ahnsahnghong on this day December 25, 2011.
Another purpose of His Second Coming is to restore the truth of life that was brought by Jesus 2,000 years ago and was abolished during the Dark Ages (John 14:26-29.) [Nepal] Worldwide Environmental Cleanup Campaign to prepare the Passover_World Mission Society Church of God

The Church of God carried out the Worldwide Environmental Cleanup Campaign for the

Passover in various areas in Nepal. The Passover, the feast that the disaster would "pass

over,” falls on April 17 this year

[Makwanpur, Nepal] A Christian feast of the Passover is the talk of the country these days after the 2011 Worldwide Environmental Cleanup Campaign carried out simultaneously in around 1,900 area in the world as well as many different areas in Nepal on Sunday March 20. Including South Korea where the headquarters and main temple of the World Mission Society Church of God (Chief Pastor Kim Joo-cheol) are located, this campaign took place all at once in around 1,900 areas in 150 countries such as the USA, Peru, Germany, Japan, India and Mongolia.

  According to the WMSCOG that hosted this event, the purpose of the massive Worldwide Environmental Cleanup Campaign was to prepare the Passover (April 17) and to revive the earth getting sick from environmental pollution. It added that the people of God have cleaned the temples and nearby areas ahead of the feast of God and hoped that the minds of people as well as the environment would be purified and many people would keep the Passover feast together.

  Massive clean-up activities were also carried out in various areas in Nepal on this day. The Church of God is the only church among many churches in Nepal that hosted large-scale environmental clean-up activities like this. In Kathmandu, about 2,000 church members participated in this event and collected many sacks of rubbish from the downtown and outskirts of the city including Bushundara, Narayanthan, the whole district of Gwarko and the streets of Satdobata. This campaign was also held in other cities such as Itahari, Chitwan, Damak, Dhangadi, Pipera, Simara and Hetauda. Around 110 church members in Hetauda joined this event to clean up the inside and outside of the Hetauda Public Stadium and the entire area of Huprachaur. Before the cleanup activity, the Stadium and the streets which had not been properly maintained for a long time were very dirty with all kinds of rubbish.
  After 2 hour environmental cleanup activity starting from 10 AM, a 5 ton truck was filled with rubbish collected by the members. People around the Public Stadium watched this campaign with curiosity. They appreciated the environmental cleanup activity of the church members, saying that many people have used the stadium but they have never seen people who carried out the voluntary cleanup of the facility and they were pleased with the clean environment.

The Passover is very important to the Church of God. This feast is based on the Bible and the word “PASSOVER” means that the disaster would “pass over.” The Passover is the first feast of the seven feasts of three times that God commanded His people to celebrate. However,it is strange to the most enthusiastic Christians as well as non-believers. It’s because that the Church of God is the only church that keeps the Passover according to the teachings of Jesus Christ, except the Jews who celebrate this feast by killing lambs as written in the Old Testament.

 The first Passover written in the Bible goes back to the time of Exodus in around 1290 B.C. When the disaster killing all the firstborn took place in the land of Egypt, the Israelites were protected from the disaster after keeping the Passover by putting the blood of the lambs on the sides and tops of the door frames of the houses by following the words of God (Exodus Chapter 12.) The same miracle occurred in the period of Two Kingdoms of Israel/Judah in around 720 B.C. At that time, the southern kingdom of Judah that kept the Passover was protected from the invasion of Assyria,while the northern kingdom of Israel that refused to keep the Passover was destroyed (2^nd Kings Chapter 18.)

 

In the age of the New Testament, Jesus Christ kept the Passover of the New Covenant with the bread and the wine with Twelve Disciples. The well-known Last Supper painting by Leonardo da Vincidepicts the scene the Passover was celebrated. Jesus Christ said that the Passover bread and wine is His flesh and blood, and He promised the forgiveness of sins (or salvation) to those who partake in the ceremony of the Passover of the New Covenant (Matthew Chapter 26; John Chapter 6.)

 The Church of God values the Passover above everything else because it believes the teachings of the Bible absolutely. This church has a firm belief on the promise of God that the saints who keep the Passover will be protected from all kinds of disasters taking place around the world and receive salvation as the Israelites who kept the Passover were untouched by the disaster. This church also believes that the saints who keep the Passover today will receive the forgiveness of sins and eternal life and enter the kingdom of heaven as did the early church members such as Peter and Paul who kept this feast.
 Also, the Church of God emphasizes that the promise of the forgiveness of sins and eternal life is only valid when we eat and drink the bread and wine on the date of the Passover as Jesus set an example for us. Therefore, if we eat and drink the bread and wine every week, every month or every year on other dates, it’s not the true Passover and we cannot receive the promise of the eternal life.
  The date of the Passover written in the Bible is the 14^th day of the 1^st month in the sacred calendar. It falls on someday in March or April in the current Gregorian calendar and it’s on April 17 this year. The Church of God holds the 2011 Grand Assembly of the Passover in its branch churches throughout Nepal including Kathmandu. Also,the Grand Assembly of the Passover Service is held in 1,900 churches in 150 countries including South Korea where the headquarters of the Church of God is located.
 The Church of God stresses that the Passover is the seal of salvation and the seal of God through which we can be saved. The church also emphasizes that this feast is the truth which we should keep in this age of disasters and hopes that all people around the world will come to keep the Passover. And it adds that they will do their best to fulfill their duties as messengers so that there will be no one who cannot keep this feast because they didn’t listen to the news of the Passover.

The Church of God started from South Korea and believes in God the Mother as well as God the Father as Saviors based on the teachings of the Bible. And this church keeps and preaches the Sabbath and the seven feasts of three times consisting of the Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Resurrection Day, the Day of Pentecost, the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles according to the teachings of Jesus Christ of 2,000 years ago. The WMSCOG that originated from South Korea in the east and spread to the western countries has 400 local churches in Korea where the headquarters is based and 1,500 churches in 150 overseas nations. In Nepal, it has 12 churches in Kathmandu and about 60 churches in other areas throughout the nation including Damak, Pokhara and Hetauda. [Mongol] The World Mission Society Church of God in Darkhan is reaching out a helping hand

 

This Church was founded in Korea in 1964 and currently has around 2,200 branch churches in 150 countries around the world. And the Church has been spread to the world under the name of the World Mission Society Church of God. The Church of God started its activity in Mongolia in 2004 and in Darkhan-Uul Province in 2009 by obtaining official approval from the authorities. The goal of this Church is to preach the prophecies of the Bible with hard evidence and to communicate a wide range of information. Also, it gives faith of life, power and wish of escaping the pain and suppression of life. Furthermore, the Church has been conducting various voluntary services.

Some examples of the voluntary services of this Church include:

1.     On March 11, 2012, two tons of wastes were collected from 4,000 m² streets in an apartment area of District No. 8, Darkhan-Uul Province. Some laborers of District No. 8 as well as 31 members of the Church participated in this clean-up campaign. The Church of God carried out clean-up campaigns in this district two times so far. The Church supported 33,200 MNT as the cost of banners, invitation cards, microphone batteries and film development.

2.    On April 29, 2012, more than 400 members participated in a campaign to clean up 6,000 m² streets near Hara River, Darkhan-Uul Province. The Church of God supported 76,580 MNT to pay for banners, clean-up campaign preparation and meals. This voluntary service carried out in Darkhan was the ‘1,371st Worldwide Voluntary Service’ of this Church.

3.     On  July 25, 2012, the Church of God performed a blood drive in Darkhan Hospital. Twenty five saints joined in this blood donation drive. Non-saints also voluntarily participated in this event. Also, the Church spent 1,750 MNT on banners and meals.

The voluntary services of this Church have been carried out in 150 countries around the world including Mongolia. Currently, the Church of God has four branch churches in Ulaanbaatar, which have also conducted voluntary services and received various awards from the Ministry of Water Supply and the Ministry of Environment of Mongolia. The Church of God around the world has been united under the slogan “The Whole World with the Love of Mother,” and has been committed to set an example with good deeds to others and create a better life for future.

The World Mission Society Church of God has paid the taxes and social insurance costs regularly within the time for payment and has followed all applicable laws and regulations of Mongolia. Also, the Church participated in a forum for religious groups held at the Child Welfare Center on December 10, 2012.

The Church presented coal and firewood to its neighbors with a warm heart like the love of Mother. The Church of God in Darkhan supported 40 bags of coal and firewood to 10 households in commemoration of the Day of the New Jerusalem.

A warm breeze of love blows to a global village. A breeze of love which makes dying lives alive with the heart of Mother who cares for children and which gives hope to neighbors who are suffering from diseases. This love is essential for mankind of this age when people are getting hard-hearted due to disputes and antagonism.

It is the World Mission Society Church of God (Chief Pastor: Joo-cheol Kim), a global religious group, that causes this warm breeze. They has been conducting massive voluntary services around the world beyond borders and religions in commemoration of the ‘Day of New Jerusalem 2012’ and created a sensation.

On Monday December 31, 2012, the Church of God in Darkhan provided 10 homes in Darkhan-Uul Province with 20 bags of coal and 20 bags of firewood respectively.

The Mongolian winter is so unbearable cold that heating fuel is absolutely necessary. However, the fuel cost is expensive, which increases the burden on people in need. “In commemoration of the Day of New Jerusalem 2012, we took action to deliver the love of God the Mother to neighbors who are having a tough life,” said Pastor Shin, Joo-ho of the Church of God in Darkhan. “We are happy to help them spend a warm winter.”

That day, coal and firewood were delivered to each home by Pastor and members of the Church. “I was anxious about this winter because I was told that it would be especially cold this year. I feel relief and happy to receive coal and firewood,” said Odonchimeg who had three children.

[Brazil] World Mission Society Church do environmental clean-up campaign in commemoration of the 94th anniversary of the sacred birth of Christ Ahnsahnghong

 The World Mission Society Church of God invites the Sergipe Community to an environmental clean-up campaign in commemoration of  the 94th anniversary of the sacred birth of Christ Ahnsahnghong. The campaign will be carried out simultaneously by 2,200 Churches in more than 150 countries.
 This event will take place around Bandeira Square at 10:00 AM on next Sunday January 29. The participants will move along the course towards Neighborhood Suissa and, on their way, will collect trash on the streets to preserve the environment.
 In 2011, the Church of God organized a clean-up campaign for the Passover in Orla da Praia de Atalaia. “The purpose of this year’s event is to practice the love of the Christ and to proclaim the appearance of God the Mother, who is the bride of God the Father, and the Second Coming Jesus,” said Moises, the pastor of this Church.

 Itahari: The members of the World Mission Society Church of God gathered in Itahari, a hub city of eastern Nepal and carried out a massive environmental clean-up campaign focusing on commercial area on Monday. [Peru] Worldwide Environmental Clean-up Campaign for commemoration of the sacred birth of Christ Ahnsahnghong

Environmental clean-up campaign was carried out throughout Peru.

In the city of Ilo, an environmental clean-up campaign was conducted, where the members of the World Mission Society Church of God played an important role in showing the love and good works of the Christ to the world.

This event is organized to prepare and announce the birth of the Second Coming Christ, who was born on December 25 (the 1st day of the 12th month December 1 in the lunar calendar.)

The purpose of this campaign is to raise people’s awareness on the second coming of the Savior in the east from the ends of the earth according to the prophecies of the Bible. The Church of God states that He came to the earth to allow us the promise of salvation and the forgiveness of sins.

Most especially, we can recognize a hidden mystery through this event: the existence of Heavenly Mother who gives us the water of life.

The Church of God also says, “Saving the earth in danger from environmental disasters is practicing the love of God who loves all mankind. It carried out this environmental clean-up movement with the slogan “Rejoice, the whole people of God.God has come a second time in the east from the ends of the earth. The members of the World Mission Society Church of God in Panaji, India, held a blood drive to enlighten people on the sanctity of human life and to share Mother's love with the neighbors suffering from diseases.

[USA] World mission society church of God - 2,000 pairs of new socks collected for Denver's Road Home

 The World Mission Society Church of God, in partnership with Denver's Road Home, conducted a sock drive on January 29th, from 1-4 pm, at the 16th Street Mall in Downtown Denver (on Court Place and 16th St near the World Trade Center). With the community's support, 2000 pairs of warm new socks will be provided to those who lack this basic necessity. 100% of all socks were presented to Denver's Road Home on Friday, February 3rd.

 Earlier in the morning, 110 members from the World Mission Society Church of God participated in a cleanup in Skyline Park in 16th Street Mall.  According to Tina Meyers, Program Coordinator for Volunteers at Denver Parks and Recreation, we contributed 310 manhours, which saved the city of Denver $6322.18.

 The World Mission Society Church of God held an environmental clean-up campaign in the area of Battambang. The Church said that this event was organized to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the sacred birth of Christ Ahnsahnghong, the Savior of the Holy Spirit age, and to spread the love and sacrifice of God who came a second time to the earth to save mankind. And it hoped to preach the New Covenant, the truth of salvation of God to lead all mankind to the kingdom of heaven.

 On January 12, the clean-up activity was carried out in a park in Battambang Province in order to protect the life of people around the world from accelerated environmental pollution and raise awareness of environmental issues.
