[USA] FORT TRYON CLEANUP in World Mission Society Church of God

Fort-Tryon-3-13-11
World Mission Society Church of God in USA
As the seasons change, the landscape changes accordingly. Most regions in the world have very slight or no change in season, but the Northeastern region of the United States experiences very drastic climatic changes during the year. From freezing subzero winters to sweltering summers, the alternating weather patterns provide for a unique biome. New York City has it all, and maintaining this great city’s delicate ecosystem requires abundant resources and time. New York City depends largely on volunteers to maintain its large tracts of green space, to repair areas that have become fallow requires even greater amounts of resource.
As part of its continuous efforts to address environmental issues in the New York Area, the Church of God[WMSCOG] participated in a Spring Preparation Cleanup at the Fort Tryon Park in Inwood (New York, NY). On March 13, 2011, the volunteer core of the Church of God[WMSCOG] arrived on location early on Sunday morning to perform the cleanup task. In past decades, Fort Tryon, a historic and scenic landmark, fallen into disrepair due to poor funding. The old fort, which dates back to the Revolutionary War, has begun to be restored in recent decades, and the volunteers of the Church of God[WMSCOG] wanted to make the restoration goal more attainable.
In preparation for spring, the volunteers removed weeds to beautify the park, as well as all other kinds of human waste. Due to poor policing, the park had become a niche for a range of illicit activities, all leaving behind their human footprint. Understanding the importance of this historic site and unique ecosystem, the volunteers of the Church of God[WMSCOG] went to work quickly and, despite the small numbers, achieved remarkable success. Like a mother who would want the best for her children, the Church of God[WMSCOG] members, earnestly wanting to emulate Heavenly Mother, wanted to beautify this park area, to help it become the pride of the region and preserve it for posterity.
Through the grace of God the Father and God the Mother, substantial progress has been achieved. Yet, there is still much work to be done in this vast area. The members of the Church of God[WMSCOG] performed this environmental task with joy and gladness. The restoration, preservation and enhancement efforts in this area will continue. Following the example of Heavenly Mother, who is the Good Samaritan, the volunteers are eager to lend a helping hand when needed and are looking forward to participating more frequently in this location.

[USA] HURRICANE SANDY RELIEF EFFORTS_ World Mission Society Church of God

Superstorm Sandy caused great devastation when it slammed the East Coast by surprise on October 29th. The destructive power of Sandy was far beyond imagination. Trees were uprooted, cars and even boats were scattered around the streets. Subway stations and low-lying neighborhoods were flooded. Millions of homes and office buildings were left without power for weeks and dozens of people even lost their lives.
This havoc did not prevent nearly 200 volunteers from the World Mission Society Church of God from taking immediate action. Volunteers took the lead in the restoration efforts, cleaning the streets of Ridgewood and Hoboken in New Jersey, and the severely damaged coastal areas of Breezy Point and Staten Island in New York.
Volunteers patiently went door to door in each community to help families, and especially the elderly. They pumped out flooded basements, cleaned out sewage, and tore down damaged drywalls. They did not hesitate even for a moment to get their hands dirty to recover the little that was left of people’s memories – pictures, trophies, books and the like.
A week after the storm, members from the Church of God in Washington, DC drove eight hours and over 500 members from the churches in the tri-state area headed to Toms River in New Jersey. News12 New Jersey described them as an “army wearing green vests” when seen walking through the town.
Billy Gallagher of the New York City Fire Department was moved by the volunteers’ commitment and said, “Actually, we are the ones who should help people who suffer from something terrible like this, but now we need your help. Heavenly Mother, thank You so much!”
The volunteers also set up tents in Breezy Point to distribute canned foods, personal care products, clothes, and most importantly, the love and concern of Heavenly Mother.

[USA] BLOOD DRIVE WINTER 2010 _World Mission Society Church of God

Blood-Drive-12-26-10
December 26, 2010 was not a typical day for the staff of Community Blood Services. Despite sixteen inches of snow falling in the midst of one of the biggest blizzards of the winter, the World Mission Society Church of God carried out its now semi-annual blood drive in partnership with Community Blood Services. With over 500 registered donors now, this third blood drive was an extraordinary effort that would not only benefit patients at local hospitals, but also bring together the hearts of those who participated.
As the snow fell steadily outside, more and more volunteers showed up from all of the Churches of God in the New York Metropolitan Area for the opportunity  to share Heavenly Mother’s love with those in need. Studies have shown that one blood donation can save up to three lives. Through the kindness and love of the volunteers of the Church of God who donated blood during this event, approximately 1,500 lives were saved! Patrice Foresman, Director of Donor Recruitment, stated that this was one of the best blood drives they held all year.
Additionally, Community Blood Services presented Pastor Daniel Lee and the World Mission Society Church of God with a Certificate of Appreciation for their continuous effort to alleviate the shortage of blood in New Jersey.
Without Heavenly Mother New Jerusalem’s teachings of love and Her continuous example as the Good Samaritan in this age, this would not have been possible. Although Community Blood Services called the Church of God donors heros, the ultimate Hero is Heavenly Mother, who grants the true gift of life: eternal life.

[USA] BLOOD DRIVE WINTER 2009 _ World Mission Society Church of God

Blood-Drive2009
The World Mission Society Church of God was very excited to host its first ever blood drive on December 27, 2009. Community Blood Services came to the Church of God in Ridgewood, NJ not expecting 196 individuals ready and willing to give blood. After hemoglobin testing, 181 people who attended the Church’s first drive were able to donate. All the participants were very excited to learn that due to their sacrifice, together they could save up to 543 lives.
Blood is the very source of life. The Church of God decided to hold this event in order to demonstrate this fact to members as well as to the community at large. This inaugural blood drive raised awareness of the necessity of blood to live. The Bible shares the same message. In the same way we receive life from our physical fathers and mothers through a combination of their blood, so the children of God receive eternal life from their spiritual Father and their spiritual Mother. Heavenly Father Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother New Jerusalem give us Their blood through the New Covenant Passover. It is through the Passover feast that we become one with God, true children of God.
Realizing the dire need for blood, especially in the summer and winter months, the Church of God decided to host semi-annual blood drives in partnership with Community Blood Services, after a first successful blood drive.

[USA] BLOOD DRIVE WINTER 2011 _ World Mission Society Church of God

On Sunday, December 11, 2011, the World Mission Society Church of God hosted its Winter 2011 Blood Drive in Ridgewood, NJ in partnership with Community Blood Services. The turnout of the drive came as no surprise to the Recruitment Director at Community Blood Services, Patrice Foresman, and to the returning staff who were involved with the Church of God’s previous drives. Among the 230 donating registrants, 180 units were collected. From this amazing drive, up to 540 lives could be saved.
Joseph McHale, a Community Blood Services volunteer, described the drive at the Church of God in Ridgewood as “huge” and “terrific.” Community Blood Services conventionally holds drives at high schools and corporations, normally obtaining around 100 or even just 50 units, respectively. McHale was shocked, impressed, and enthused by the magnificent turnout and the amount of new donors at the Church of God.
Kamil, now a veteran worker at the Church of God blood drives, mentioned that he likes coming here, taking notice of the calm and organized atmosphere of the members and participants despite the hundreds of blood contributors that Community Blood Services personnel had to register. The blood donating process takes roughly an hour, including: completing the application, getting tested for capability to donate, then finally donating itself. Undeterred by the lengthy process, which increased due to the limited amount of donating beds, Camille, a Community Blood Services worker, commented that “some people get very frustrated, but [Church of God donors] were not complaining about the wait.”
So what motivates Church of God members to continuously participate in these blood drives? It is their burning desire to serve others and follow in the footsteps of Heavenly Father Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother New Jerusalem. As Kamal Monges, first time donor and member of the Church of God in Philadelphia, expressed, “Father and Mother did it…with a lot more pain and a lot more suffering. This is a very small sacrifice. It was a pleasure to do this for those in need.” Even first time visitors to the Church enjoyed the warm and welcoming atmosphere as well as the beautiful deed of saving lives. It was Karen Roman’s first time at the Church of God and although she donated in the past, she appreciated the members’ attentiveness in helping her through the process to make her more comfortable and more at ease. When asked if she would come back to another Church of God Blood Drive, she responded, “Of course! And [I'd] bring some friends too!”
The event proved so successful that New Song Radio featured it on one of its segments. During an aired interview with Patrice, she described her feelings on the drive. “Every single time we have done a blood drive at the World Mission Society Church of God in Ridgewood, it has been an overwhelming feeling of happiness. People are very, very glad to be a part of the process – I’m talking about our employees with Community Blood Services… and also the donors themselves. It just seems like everybody has the same reason to be there and that is to help make certain we have an adequate blood supply for the 20+ hospitals that we serve in the community and the three trauma centers…” An unexpected victory also occurred at the Church of God Drive: ten people registered to donate bone marrow, “which is an amazing result for our first time,” acknowledged Patrice.
Community Blood Services also nominated the World Mission Society Church of God to receive a special Award of Excellence through the America’s Blood Centers Organization. Patrice spoke about why she nominated the Church of God for this award: “It’s a national award. It is something I felt very deeply about because of the commitment that the Church of God has made to us. Essentially, it is an award for the most productive blood drive… I can’t think of an organization that is more deserving of this kind of recognition. [The Church of God's] mission to assist [their] fellow man is relevant and important and is one that Community Blood Services shares… it resonates to the actual gift of life.”
The World Mission Society Church of God looks forward to continuing its efforts of conducting blood drives during the winter and summer months when blood supply levels are at its lowest.

[USA] Blood donation of World Mission Society Church of God

According to the New Jersey Blood Donor Coalition, when blood supply shortfalls occur, New Jersey must rely on blood from other states, which may result in hospitals having less than a two-day supply on hand.  To patients combating serious illnesses that demand blood transfusions it can be a grim reality, however members from the World Mission Society Church of God strive to selflessly devote themselves to donating blood throughout the year and abet these shortages.  Considering that only 3.6% of the New Jersey population donates compared to the national average of 5%, the World Mission Society Church of God hopes to fill the gaps in giving and serve those in greatest need.
Throughout the year, the members across 36 East Coast branches from the Church of God voluntarily unite to host large and small-scale blood drives to help reduce the blood supply shortage. Each year, individual churches may donate 2-3 times and on occasion members from across all the branches will unite at the central Headquarters in Ridgewood, New Jersey to donate blood.  Additionally, the Church of God carries out hundreds of blood drives on a global scale across more than 150 countries. The drives are created not only for members of the church, but are used to help attract and educate the communities to also donate.
The motivation and inspiration for this effort is a product of the members gratitude to the Saviors  Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother Jerusalem who have sacrificed their own blood to give eternal life according to the Scriptures.  Just as physical life is sustained by a healthy supply of blood, so the Bible testifies that the blood of Christ delivered on the Passover night has the power to give eternal life to those who celebrate it.  Realizing the sacrifice of God to shed blood to save souls, the members feel a great desire to share the love of Christ with all mankind by giving physical blood to individuals in need.

" ... Council leader Jim McMahon blasted residents for not taking responsibility.

Members of the World Mission Society Church of God worked with the American Littoral Society to remove about 12,000 pounds of trash including pieces of boats, docks and lumber that lined the banks of Jamaica Bay in Broad Channel.

[Peru] World mission society church of God - Inspired UN through volunteer services to the world

Have you ever heard about the World Mission Society Church of God?

Amir Dossal, Executive Director of the United Nations Office for Partnerships [UNOP], said, “From the UN’s perspective, we think you can change the world. We hope that the UN will work together with the Church of God.” (June 30, 2010. http://www.un.org/partnerships/achieve.html)
The World Mission Society Church of God was founded by Christ Ahnsahnghong in South Korea in 1964. It has over 400 local Churches in Korea and around 2,200 Churches in 150 overseas nations.
The Church of God wants to help the world like the Good Samaritan, and has been carrying out volunteer activities everywhere in the world where the Church exists. In this way, the Church members spread the love of God Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother and express their love by helping our neighbors in need.
The foundation of the members of the Church of God is based on the teachings of Christ Ahnsahnghong. Have you ever heard about the existence of God the Mother? And have you heard about the feasts of the new covenant? Do you know what place indicates Zion? What is the order of Melchizedek? Did you know that King David represents the Second Coming Christ as well as the First Coming Christ?
Since the eternal kingdom of heaven is near, all secrets sealed in the Bible are to be opened. Therefore, these issues cannot be treated lightly.
Today December 25, the Church of God is worldwide commemorating the birth of Christ Ahnsahnghong, the Savior in this era. Learning His teachings, you can understand the love of Christ and receive God within you. If you want to participate in the volunteer services or learn about the mysteries of the Bible, visit Tarapaca in street No. 100. Urb Maria Isabel. Cercado. Arequipa. Or you can call (054)281173.

World Mission Society Church of God, a bad Church? - The True WMSCOG

World Mission Society Church of God follow the teachings of Heavenly Mother. Some people slander about World Mission Society Church of God only because it's different from them. It's unreasonable. Plz watch this video below.

... Faith is something individual, whatever an individual chooses to believe is completely up to him. If one family member chooses to believe in one thing, and another one chooses to believe in another thing, we cannot blame the organization or the group each individual belongs to. A Church should be judged based on how they contribute to society and how well they help the community in the time of need. ...

[UK]World Mission Society Church of God's environmental clean-up

Those who believe in Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother loves the environment!

We all know how serious the environment is due to global warming.
Nevertheless, people are neglecting the importance of cleaning up, littering carelessly without being aware of how they can adversely affect the environment.
Though this earth has been giving us greatful amount of resources, no one really repays for the earth.
world mission society church of god
Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother, the creator of this whole universe has given us the precious promise of eternal life through the Passover of the new covenant.
In order for us to repent, Elohim God; Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother, has given us this precious gift, “Earth,” and so the World Mission Society Church of God are always willingly cleaning up their own areas with God the Mother(Heavenly Mother)’s love.
Becoming the “salt and the light” of this world, the members are practicing Heavenly Mother’s love, to glorify Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother.
